ТОТ, КТО ПРИХОДИТ (ИЛИ СПРЯТАННЫЙ АФИКОМАН) He Who is Coming (The Hidden Afikoman) by Paul Sumner This Russian translation appeared in the annual journal-almanac ХРІСТІАНОС [Xristianos] in early 2014, and was published in Riga, Latvia. The translator was Larissa Pevear. Larissa Volokhonsky was born in Leningrad, USSR, where she studied mathematical linguistics at Leningrad State University (M.A.). In 1973 she emigrated to Israel, where she lived for two years. After her emigration to the West in 1975, she studied at Yale Divinity School (M.A.R.) and at St Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary (1979-1981). Beginning in 1985 she collaborated with her husband Richard Pevear on translating books of theology and literature from English into Russian and from Russian into English. Some of these include works by Alexander Schmemann, John Meyendorff, Olga Sedakova, and her brother, Henri (Anri) Volokhonsky. The Pevears currently live and work in Europe.
